Writing

A Day At The Beach Waves Rolling in set by set Crashing on the sand bed below my feet Shells sprinkled like sprinkles on an ice cream, I look to my left I look to my right people evacuating the water, I think to myself why?
Suddenly a lifeguard is talking to a couple on the sand I heard the lifeguard say “ Please do not enter the water we will tell everyone when it's safe to go back in, there has been a sighting of a gruesome shark attack on the west side of the beach. I gather my stick And head to shore hoping there is nothing swimming underneath me. I become worried that it's my owner. I try to stay calm but I just can’t I see a shadow type figure lurking around below my paws i start swimming faster and faster trying to get to shore It smooched against my legs as if it were a cat wanting food. I look closer realising it’s not a shark it's it’s…
A stingray And a very large one. I reach the shore where it's shallow enough for me to stand up I Dash over to the scene, people huddled around in a circle I could see from a distance not seeing what's in the middle. I bark they all stare at me as if I had done something wrong, There i see my owner lying on the ground in pain I cuddle up beside him but the Lifeguards keep pushing me away as if i was a stray dog. Blood dripping. his leg has been bitten it looks major but they say it's minor. They get a long skinny bed like thing out of the ambulance Also known as a stretcher. They put him in the back he calls my name “Charles come on boy” I jump in the back. We take of into the distance I slowly fall asleep...

The very next day “well it felt like it” Apparently a  hour later we arrived at the hospital they race him into a room The hospital was Deserted It Was a ghost town, We walked down to a room that was Spooky,Dark Just over all it looked Unhygienic and disgusting. There was Plants growing in through the half smashed windows. I did not at all trust the staff with my owner but if they are going to stop him from losing a lot of blood then i’m up for it. I got told to go outside and wait, he was having surgery i was tired but could not fall asleep knowing he could die any second now. 2hours past i’m able to come in he is aloud out and it looked like nothing happened at all! He grabs my lead and we walk out happily ever after.

Bmx Olympic Races

Bmx olympics
The gate drops clink i pedal and pedal clearing the first jump, manualing the second tabletop,
I see USA Next to me Ahead of me was AUS and GER. It was my lucky day, but not theirs, they both suddenly clipped out on the third jump. Coming around the bend usa cuts thru the corner to overtake me i pedaled and pedaled and pumped and pumped but i wasn't catching up finally i got to my best part of the course were pumping is key to succeed Pump after Pump boosting past USA coming to the last corner aaannnddd Finish line! New Zealand a well earned Gold for bmx!  Walt:Get A point across to the reader.

Staying Fit Speech :)

WALT: persuade a reader to agree with the writer’s point of view through the presentation of relevant points and supporting evidence.

STAYING FIT SPEECH


Staying fit is very important throughout a teenager and adults life. If you do not stay fit it's more likely you're going to get sick a lot more easily. This is proven by recent studies.


If you become fat and overweight you're likely to pass away earlier in life. Eating healthy is also a main thing. You need to be eating healthy foods, for example, Fruit...Vegetables, Grains  Etc.
Not only eating healthily is good for you. Drinking healthy drinks with low sugar in them would be great as well. Some fruits are rich in fiber and Vitamin C such as oranges and kiwi fruit. Added sugar is addictive, highly fattening and a leading cause of diseases like obesity and diabetes.There is around 10g of sugar in a normal size apple, 9g in an orange, 12g in a banana.
A 20 ounce Powerade weighs in with over seven teaspoons of sugar.There's approximately 11g of sugar in a 100-gram monster energy can.


“Fit is not a destination it is a way of life”. Any type of regular physical activity can improve your fitness and your health.
Exercise should be a regular part of your day, eating, and sleeping is a main thing in a human beings life. It can be in gym class, joining a sports team, or working out on a regular basis. Working out too hard can lead to diseases such as Rhabdomyolysis which is a rare disease. Over time your muscles slowly start to break down, it's when the muscles that are responsible for producing energy is damaged. Going through this can lead to kidney failure as well sadly.

So basically if you Follow these instructions you're likely to have a fun healthy and fit life. If you're overweight it may take a while to get fit, but you just need to persevere and don't give up, and you will get there!


I'm Proud of my speech because I think I have stepped up in writing and I'm becoming a bit better. :)
